If you paid via a BACS transfer, it may take some time for your payment to be processed. This is normal: a BACS payment involves a bank, which means it can take a while before the payment is actually transferred and visible to us.
On average, this takes 5 working days, but in exceptional cases, it can take up to 14 working days. Once the payment has been received, your order will be shipped immediately. If you did not pay with BACS and your order is on hold, your payment may have failed.
You can see when your order will be delivered via the Track & Trace link. If you are not home at that time, the delivery person will try again later or leave a message. If the delivery cannot be found, we will investigate it for you. Our customer service collects all the information and contacts our support team to resolve this quickly.
The standard delivery time is 1-2 working days after receipt of payment. If you paid via BACS (bank transfer), please note that processing the payment can take up to 4 working days before your AED is shipped.
Orders to remote areas (such as the Isle of Harris or Northern Ireland): 3-4 working days.
Shipping: In the United Kingdom, our AEDs are delivered by DPD.
Track & Trace: Once your order has been handed over to DPD, you will automatically receive a Track & Trace code by email. This allows you to track the delivery and, if necessary, adjust the delivery time.
Yes, a signature is always required upon delivery. This ensures that your order has been received correctly. If you place your order before 2:00 PM and the payment is received, the order is often shipped the same working day
Once you receive the Track & Trace link, you can adjust the delivery time slot based on your postcode..

Once your request is in, we ship your replacement AED right away — typically the same or next business day.
Delivery is fast, so you’re never left without coverage.Report the deployment
Log in to your personal Pulse4all account and choose ‘Product swap (SWAP)’.
Return the deployed device
You’ll receive a return label (digital or printed) and a return box.
Use these to send back the deployed AED — completely free of charge.
We provide both preventive maintenance and maintenance after the AED has been used.
For preventive maintenance, we routinely replace the electrodes every 2 years and the battery every 4 years. This is not done on-site but through a complete exchange: you receive a ready-to-use AED and return the old one free of charge. The exchanged AED is then thoroughly maintained in our service center.
After a deployment, we always replace the entire AED, so you immediately have a fully checked and working device, ready for the next use.
We’ll take care of everything for you. Just follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Pulse4all account with the email address used for your order.
2. In your dashboard, click the button for “Product SWAP”.
3. Select “AED deployed” as the reason and confirm your details.
After that:
– We’ll immediately send you a fully serviced replacement AED.
– You’ll receive a return label and packaging instructions (in the UK, this is a paper label; in other countries, it’s digital).
– Return the used AED using the box the new one came in.
– Please remove the battery before sending it back.
Is your AED beeping or signaling? Follow these steps:
Remove the battery and reinsert it.
No effect? Press the blue information button and listen to the AED’s instructions.
Check the temperature: Has the device been too warm or too cold? Let it come to room temperature first.
Is the AED still beeping? Report it for a quick replacement (SWAP) and provide us with the following information:
Reason for the request (e.g., deployment or malfunction)
Location of the AED
Correct address details
Your contact information
This way, we ensure you quickly have a working AED again.
Yes, you can take your Philips AED on vacation. However, please ensure that the AED is handled carefully.
Note: Exchange in foreign countries is not possible due to shipping and delivery times.
Traveling by car? No problem – no special measures are needed.
Flying? There are a few things to keep in mind:
The AED can usually be taken as carry-on or checked luggage.
Remove the battery if placing the AED in checked luggage. Carry the battery in your hand luggage.
Always bring the invoice and the MSDS document (safety information) for the battery. You can request these from us.
Check with your airline in advance to confirm if the AED is allowed on board.
That is only possible if you choose to make an advance payment for at least one year. In that case, you can transfer the full amount in one go via a bank transfer.
Your invoice will only become visible after the payment has been successfully processed. You can find all paid invoices in your personal Pulse4all account under ‘payments’.

The AED does not need to be connected to power. The device operates on a battery that can deliver more than 200 shocks and has a factory warranty of 4 years.
Philips AEDs are very user-friendly. They provide spoken instructions that adjust to your pace. The HS1 automatically turns on when you pull out the handle, without needing to press a button. A metronome helps you maintain the correct tempo for CPR. This makes it possible to operate our AEDs with or without experience.
Philips defibrillators are semi-automatic. They analyze the heart rhythm in just 8.2 seconds, meeting the resuscitation guideline (maximum 10 seconds interruption). A fully automatic defibrillator counts down before delivering the shock, which often takes too long. With the Philips, you press the flashing button yourself as soon as the device indicates – this is faster and safer.
We have compared the manuals of the most common AEDs. What truly matters in an emergency are ease of use, reliability, and speed. Philips excels in all these areas:
Ease of use: The AED automatically adjusts to the pace of the responder, ensuring you are never over- or under-guided.
Reliability: Philips is one of the few brands worldwide that conducts daily self-tests on all components – only Cardiac Science also does this.
Speed: A shock is delivered within 8 seconds, faster than most other AEDs. This meets the guideline of the Resuscitation Council: a maximum of 10 seconds between analysis and shock.
The AED is designed to be quickly activated and used immediately. The device guides you step-by-step with clear voice instructions and an integrated metronome that indicates the correct pace for resuscitation.
Would you like to see how it works in advance? Check out our free demonstration videos via this link.
Yes, you can mount the wall bracket in a car or van. However, keep in mind that the AED can come loose with bumps or abrupt movements. Preferably choose a safe spot where it remains securely in place.
You can register your AED on The Circuit, the national defibrillator network in the UK.
This ensures that ambulance services can locate your defibrillator and direct people to it in case of an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
Registering your AED on The Circuit is quick and free, and it helps save lives by making sure your defibrillator is accessible when needed most.
As long as the AED is not easily accessible to unauthorized persons, theft is insured. You can place it in a cabinet with an alarm or on a less visible floor. The cabinet should be stored indoors in the apartment building lobby.
In case of theft:
Report the theft to the police.
We will discuss the situation and arrange for a replacement defibrillator at the location.

We do not offer an AED package with a heated outdoor cabinet. Our AEDs are intended for indoor use or in vehicles.
If you want to place an AED outside, you will need to provide a suitable, heated outdoor cabinet yourself. Please note:
The all-risk insurance does not apply if the AED is placed outside, even in a heated cabinet.
Maintenance and exchange services are still included.
Your package includes a free perspex wall bracket. It is easy to mount with two screws and ensures the defibrillator is clearly visible and quickly accessible.
We only deliver defibrillators to countries where we are active. Each country has its own website where you can place an order.

We do not offer outdoor cabinets at this time with Pulse4all UK, but this is something we are working on for the future.
We only deliver defibrillators to countries where we are active. Each country has its own website where you can place an order.
The ECG is stored and can be read later. Often, the hospital will do this immediately. If this hasn’t been done, we can have it read via our partner ProCardio. This data is only shared with doctors.
You will receive new electrodes (pads) with the replacement AED, which will last for another 2 years.
Ask the ambulance or hospital who took the AED and where it is now. Share this information with us, and we will assist you further.
The wall bracket can always remain in place.
With every replacement AED, we will also send a new AED prep kit.
Once you have received the ready-to-use AED, you can return your used AED in the same box. You will find a paper return label inside the box.
We take care of the maintenance. Every 2 years, you will receive a ready-to-use AED from us with a new battery and electrodes. We also provide replacements after use.
That is normal. During the daily self-test, the light stays on continuously. After that, it starts flashing again. Everything is working as it should.
You can easily install the wall bracket yourself with 2 screws to attach it to the wall.
The AED performs a daily self-test. If the temperature is too high or too low, the test is postponed. If this happens three times in a row, the AED will emit a beep and warn that the ambient temperature is unsuitable.
What temperature range should my AED stay within?
Philips HS1: Storage with battery and electrodes: 10 to 43°C. When used on a patient: 0 to 50°C.
Philips FRx: Storage and use: 0 to 50°C. Therefore, this model is better suited for placement in vehicles.
Every two years, we swap your AED for a fully inspected replacement.
This way, you’re always equipped with a device that’s ready for the next two years — or until it’s deployed.
After each deployment, we’ll send you another replacement to make sure you’re always covered.
All maintenance is performed at our Defib Service Centre. If your AED requires maintenance, has been used, or indicates a malfunction, we will exchange it on-site for a fully inspected unit.

At least 2 years. We keep track of the expiration date for you. Shortly before the electrodes (pads) or battery expire, you will receive a notification from us and a ready-to-use, fully maintained AED.
The battery lasts at least 4 years and can deliver up to 200 shocks. After 4 years, you will automatically receive a notification from us. We will then exchange the entire AED for a ready-to-use version, including a new battery and electrodes.
You don’t need to replace individual electrodes yourself — and it’s not necessary.
At Pulse4all, we operate a complete exchange system. This means: After 2 years or after use, you will receive a fully checked AED from us, including fresh electrodes and battery. You don’t need to replace or order anything yourself.
This way, you are always assured of a ready-to-use AED without hassle or extra costs.
We do not sell refurbished AEDs in the traditional sense. All devices are thoroughly inspected, tested, and fully covered by Philips’ warranty conditions. You always receive a ready-to-use AED that is 100% safe, reliable, and deployable, as if it were new out of the box.
The exchange service is exclusively available for defibrillators offered through Pulse4all.
Battery Lifespan:
Philips HeartStart HS1 Battery: At least 4 years.
Philips FRx Battery: At least 4 years.
The battery is designed to deliver more than 200 shocks within this period.
Important to know: You don’t need to replace the battery or electrodes (pads) yourself. At Pulse4all, we handle everything for you through our exchange program. You will always have a fully functional AED without any extra costs or worries.
You may be without a working AED for 1 to a few business days. After use, your AED will not be operational until it is exchanged. Pulse4all sends a replacement AED immediately after you request a SWAP (exchange). Delivery typically takes 1-2 business days.
No, the battery is not immediately empty after use. The battery in your Philips AED (HS1 or FRx) is designed to deliver more than 200 shocks. One use only consumes a small portion of the total battery capacity.
Important to know:
After each use, we always replace the entire AED through our exchange service. This means you automatically receive a defibrillator with a new battery and new electrodes (pads). You never have to worry about the remaining battery capacity after use.
The production of the FR3 has been discontinued worldwide. However, if you purchase an AED from us, you don’t need to worry about this. Our models are still in production and are maintained through our replacement concept. This ensures you always have a ready-to-use defibrillator without any maintenance concerns.
Manual payments are only accepted for prepayments of at least one year.
If you’ve transferred an amount manually, we’ll check it and refund it if needed.
You’ll receive a confirmation as soon as the payment has been reviewed.
If your automatic debit has failed, here’s what happens next:
We will automatically retry the payment:
1st attempt: after 5 days
2nd attempt: after 10 days
3rd attempt: after 15 days
If the payment still hasn’t succeeded after these attempts, we’ll get in touch to help sort it out.
It is not possible to pay a monthly amount in instalments.
You can contact customer support and request a change in date to your future monthly payments.
We use advanced payment methods that fully comply with PCI-DSS standards, ensuring your data is secure and protected against fraud.
The defibrillator remains the property of Pulse4all — and that’s actually a big plus for you.
If anything happens to it, like damage or theft, you’re fully covered.
We’ll send you a ready-to-use replacement at no extra cost.
So you’ll always have a working defibrillator, without stress or surprise expenses.
We try to keep our prices as stable as possible. However, external factors such as inflation, exchange rates, or rising procurement costs can have an impact. If an adjustment is necessary, it will always be gradual and never sudden or significant. At this time, there have been no price increases.
Yes, the ECG is stored and can be read later. Often, the hospital will do this immediately. If this hasn’t been done, we can have it read via our partner ProCardio. This data is only shared with doctors.
The FRx is suitable for all ages thanks to the child key for children up to 25 kg. The HS1 is equipped with pads for individuals over 25 kg.
By default, we provide the AED with instructions in English. You can request another language when placing your order – this cannot be changed afterwards.
Philips AEDs are among the most user-friendly in the world. They provide voice instructions that adjust to your pace. The HS1 automatically turns on when you pull out the handle, without needing to press a button. A metronome helps you maintain the correct pace for resuscitation.
Yes, absolutely. Thanks to clear spoken instructions and guidance at your own pace, the AED is suitable for people with visual impairments or no experience.
Every AED can be used outdoors in an emergency. However:
The HS1 is intended for storage indoors only.
The FRx is suitable for vehicles and storage indoors.
Note: If the AED is placed outdoors (even in a heated cabinet), the all-risk insurance does not apply.
We advise against placing an AED outdoors. Even if the cabinet is heated, the all-risk insurance will be void. We remain responsible for the maintenance.

You can easily activate the AED yourself. Remove the battery strip, and the AED will automatically perform a self-test. There is no further installation required.
This depends on the temperature on the boat:
Does the temperature regularly drop below 10°C? Choose the FRx (operates from 0°C).
Does the temperature stay between 10°C and 43°C year-round? Then the HS1 is also suitable.
Therefore, the FRx is generally the safest choice.
The AED can be used outside. In case of an emergency, both models (HS1 and FRx) can be used outside.
An AED sticker is included in the box by default.
This way, your environment remains protected without unnecessary hassle.
All Philips AEDs are produced by Philips in the United States, under the supervision of the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). This ensures the highest quality and reliability.
No worries, that has never happened before. The AED guides you step by step on what to do. It adjusts to your pace, so you are not overwhelmed with information. Instructions are repeated, rephrased, or supplemented if necessary. There is also a metronome that indicates the correct pace for chest compressions.
In the event of cardiac arrest, immediate action is crucial. The chance of survival is highest if a shock is delivered within 3 to 5 minutes. Emergency services often cannot arrive that quickly. Therefore, swift action by bystanders is vital.
If you live alone, unfortunately, a home AED is not a suitable solution. In the event of cardiac arrest, you cannot operate the device yourself.
Do you live in an apartment complex? Then it is a great option to take out an AED subscription together with the homeowners’ association. This way, you share the costs and ensure that there is always a defibrillator available for everyone in the building.
Yes, you can. The AED itself is rain-resistant, but the victim’s chest must be dry for the electrodes (pads) to stick properly. Use a towel (provided) or an umbrella, or move the person indoors if possible.
Philips AEDs are designed for everyone – even without medical knowledge or training. The device provides clear spoken instructions and adapts to your pace. While we recommend CPR training, you can still save a life with this device even without prior experience.
Yes. In the event of cardiac arrest, you must act immediately – even for pregnant women. The electrodes (pads) are placed on the mother’s chest, and the AED ignores the much weaker signal from the unborn child.
Absolutely. We offer instructional videos that clearly explain how to operate the Philips HS1 and FRx defibrillators.
These videos cover:
– How to deploy the defib step by step
– What to do in an emergency
– How the device guides you with spoken instructions
They’re available in every country we opperate, and you can easily share them with your team.
Philips AEDs perform a comprehensive self-test daily. Additionally, at Pulse4all, we replace the electrodes (pads) and battery every 2 years to ensure your AED is always ready for use.
How to check it yourself:
Green flashing light: The AED is 100% ready for use. This is also stipulated in Philips’ warranty conditions.
Red light and beep: Contact us immediately. We will arrange an exchange promptly, so you quickly have a working AED again.
The FRx uses a child key, which adjusts the shock level for children under 25 kg. Therefore, you don’t need to switch to separate electrodes (pads). The HS1 comes standard with adult electrodes (pads).
Thanks to clear spoken instructions and guidance at your own pace, the defibrillator is also suitable for people with visual impairments or without experience.

No, but you can easily do this yourself with two screws. No specialist is needed.
We do not provide training ourselves. However, there are likely good CPR and AED courses available online or near you.
Yes, you can usually take it as carry-on or checked baggage. Always check with your airline. Bring the purchase invoice and the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) document with you.
Yes, the Philips FRx is splash-resistant and suitable for use on a boat. Note: it is not waterproof, so do not let it fall into the water.
Yes, the Philips FRx is very suitable for this. However, be mindful of the temperature. Extreme temperatures can occur in a car, which may affect the performance of the battery or electrodes. Preferably, park the car in the shade or a garage.
It depends on the model:
